Project Overview

Prep Academy wanted to bring new energy to their campus and celebrate student creativity through a large-scale mural. The goal was to transform a blank wall into a vibrant space that reflected the school’s values, inspired students, and created a lasting sense of pride and ownership.

Our Role

Bright Space Murals designed and executed the mural in collaboration with students, guiding them through the creative process from concept and mood boards to tracing and painting techniques. The project doubled as an educational workshop, teaching teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills while giving students the chance to leave their mark on campus.

Result
The finished mural became a point of pride for the school, fostering student engagement, confidence, and creativity. Teachers reported that the project reinforced collaboration and social-emotional learning, while the artwork itself transformed the space into an inspiring environment that reflects the students’ voices and the school’s community spirit.
